SEINFELD: THE PITCH; THE TICKET (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series set in New York City in which comedian Jerry Seinfeld plays himself. Humorous situations in his personal life are interspersed with brief stand-up comedy routines. In this episode, NBC executives are interested in developing a series with Jerry, and George hits upon the idea of a show about "nothing," consisting solely of the day-to-day events that occur in the lives of Jerry and his friends. The executives are not entirely amenable to the concept, and all hope seems lost when Kramer drinks sour milk and vomits on Susan, the only executive who supported the idea. Meanwhile, crazed teleplay writer Joe Devola vows revenge when Jerry accidentally reveals that Devola was not invited to Kramer's party. Also, Newman defends his speeding ticket in court by convincing Kramer to falsely testify that he was suicidal and that Newman was rushing to stop him. Commercials deleted.
