MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE: THE INTERROGATOR {THIRD SEASON FINALE} (TV)
Summary
One in this series of adventure dramas about the exploits of the Impossible Missions Force. In this episode, a hostile country is planning to launch a nuclear submarine attack against the United States, and Phelps and the IMF have only two days to determine the location of the submarines before they attack. The U.S. has learned that Colonel Norvan Kruger is a spy for the hostile country, but Kruger is in the custody of Friedrich Spindler, a security interrogator for another unfriendly nation. Spindler interrogates Kruger, but Kruger -- was once an interrogator himself -- refuses to divulge information about the attack. In an ingenious plan, the IMF kidnap Kruger and Spindler and take them to a high-security prison; they administer an amnesia-inducing drug to Kruger, and place him in specially-constructed recreations of rooms from his home. Kruger awakens dressed as the state security interrogator and is told that he is suffering from amnesia due to an automobile accident, while Spindler awakens dressed as a prisoner. The IMF team fights the clock as they orchestrate a complex scheme to coax the information from Kruger's drug-fogged mind before he regains his memory and realizes what is happening. Commercial deleted.
