ST. ELSEWHERE: FATHERS AND SONS (TV)
Summary
One in this medical drama series set in St. Eligius hospital in Boston. In this episode, Dr. Craig and his wife, Ellen, meet their new daughter-in-law, Yvonne, for the first time and have an uncomfortable visit -- Dr. Craig is unable to hide his disapproval and Steven is resentful of his father's attitude, but Yvonne attempts to remain positive. Upon returning from Africa, Dr. Westphall has been inspired by his experience working with the starving people of Ethiopia and is determined to make Boston a better place to live. With boundless enthusiasm he sets about making changes at St. Eligius and antagonizes staff members as a result. He also remove his autistic son, Tommy, from a group home. Luther fulfills a requirement for paramedic training and rides in an ambulance for a day with two partners, Doug Dzajik and Kate Larson, who trade insults while saving lives. Dr. Morris helps Dr. Roxanne Turner with her new infertility program by trying to enlist donors for a sperm bank, while Dr. Turner treats a young couple who are unable to conceive on their own. Commercials deleted.
