M*A*S*H {MASH}: CEASE FIRE (TV)
Summary
One in this series of comedy programs about the men and women of the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (M*A*S*H) stationed behind the lines during the Korean War. In this episode, Hawkeye and Trapper John are about to take a brief rest trip to Tokyo when Henry learns from Gen. Clayton that a ceasefire may be taking place. The news travels instantly throughout the unit and champagne celebrations begin; Hawkeye starts giving away his belongings to locals and dodges marriage proposals from two nurses; Klinger sells his dresses; a drunken Houlihan tells Frank she'll die without him; at a party that evening, Hawkeye embarrasses Houlihan and Gen. Clayton by screening some compromising slides of them; and only Trapper is skeptical about the reality of the ceasefire. Commercials deleted.
