
M*A*S*H {MASH}: THE BILLFOLD SYNDROME (TV)
Summary
One in this series of comedy programs about the men and women of the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (M*A*S*H), stationed behind the lines during the Korean War. In this episode, a medic is treated for amnesia at the 4077th. When the young man forgets his identity while tending to injured soldiers, Col. Potter summons psychiatrist Dr. Sidney Freedman to the camp to find the trauma that is at the root of the memory loss. When an interview reveals no clues, the doctor decides to put the medic under hypnosis. With the help of surgeons Hawkeye and B. J., the doctor re-enacts a recent battle, hoping to free the terrible secret that the medic is trying to suppress. Meanwhile, Winchester takes a self-imposed vow of silence. Commercials deleted.
