M*A*S*H {MASH}: THE LIFE YOU SAVE (TV)
Summary
One in this series of comedy programs about the men and women of the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (M*A*S*H), stationed behind the lines during the Korean War. In this episode, Winchester becomes obsessed with death after a sniper's bullet grazes his head. Snipers begin firing on Charles and B. J. while they work outdoors, treating a patient going into cardiac arrest. The two doctors duck the bullets and manage to revive the G.I., who had been dead for three minutes. When Charles removes his cap, however, he realizes a bullet has just narrowly missed his head. With Charles's nerves jarred, the major now anxiously struggles with his fears about mortality. His quest for solace leads him to the battalion aid station at the front lines, where he probes the mind of a dying soldier. Commercials deleted.
