Summary
One in this occasional series of animated specials based on "The Flintstones," the animated comedy series about a Stone Age family. In this program, Fred and Wilma Flintstone make preparations for the marriage of their daughter Pebbles to Bamm-Bamm, the son of their neighbors, Barney and Betty Rubble. Complications ensue when Fred loses his life savings on a bet and blames Barney. Their long friendship is sorely tested just at the moment their children announce their engagement. Fred and Wilma, who regret having had to elope in a dismal Rock Vegas chapel, promise Pebbles the most expensive, memorable wedding ever staged in Bedrock. As Wilma and Betty make the elaborate arrangements, Fred tries to solve his financial problems by engaging in a string of misguided get-rich-quick schemes. Includes commercials, promos, and public service announcements. This program is closed-captioned.
