TRIBECA: THE LOFT (TV)
Summary
One in this series of urban dramas that profiles the lives of the residents of Tribeca, a downtown Manhattan neighborhood. In this episode, a group of friends -- Steven, Ira, and Leah -- fresh out of college and painfully naive, want to move to Manhattan to experience life in the city. Harry, owner of the local coffee shop Zadie's, overhears the friends discussing their fruitless search for an cheap apartment. He arranges to rent them space in a warehouse, which they are more than happy to renovate. When Leah disappears while picking up pizza on their first night in their new space, Ira and Steven set off on a disturbing search for their missing friend, and come face to face with the realities of life in New York City. Guest stars include Dizzy Gillespie, Deborah Harry, former New York City Mayor Ed Koch, and Lonette McKee. Commercials deleted.
