ROSEANNE: THANKSGIVING '93 (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series about Roseanne and Dan Conner, a working-class couple who live in Lanford, Illinois, and their three kids, D.J., Darlene, and Becky. In this episode, while the Conners are celebrating Thanksgiving, Roseanne's grandmother, played by Shelley Winters, announces that Roseanne's mother was pregnant before she got married; Roseanne's mother tells her some personal information about her father; Becky's husband, Mark, and Dan argue about whether Mark is a responsible husband and they end up in a fistfight, which has a surprising effect on their relationship; Jackie, who is pregnant, tries to avoid Fred, the father of her child; Darlene makes up an excuse about her absence from the family celebration, and then spends Thanksgiving alone with her boyfriend, David; and Nana, who pretends to be senile, gets a dose of her own medicine.
