L.A. LAW {LA LAW}: THE BEVERLY HILLS HANGERS (TV)
Summary
One in this series of legal dramas set in the Los Angeles law firm of McKenzie Brackman. In this episode, Michael and Tommy defend Rikki Davis, who, along with her lover David Schaeffer, is accused of murdering her elderly husband Harold via a trumped-up suicide. The prosecution, supported by the lawyer of the deceased, Chellios, contends that Harold Davis wanted a divorce, and that since the terms of his wife's prenuptial agreement would pay her very little in such a case she decided to kill him in order to inherit his millions. Schaeffer comes forward with evidence against his lover but is largely discredited. CJ's discovery that Chellios had been dating Davis's daughter Marion causes the jury to challenge his sincerity, and the defense rests in the wake of this damaging evidence. Meanwhile, Rosalind proposes marriage to Leland and endeavors to enlist Ann's unlikely support to the union. Commercials deleted.
