WKRP IN CINCINNATI: CLEAN UP RADIO BROADCASTING {THIRD SEASON FINALE} (TV)
Summary
One in this series of comedy programs about the staff of a small radio station in Cincinnati. In this episode, a preacher heading a religious media task force called C.U.R.B. (Clean Up Radio Broadcasting) pressures Mr. Carlson into banning songs the group has deemed obscene from the WKRP playlist. The staff is furious when Carlson enforces the ban, and they soon make him realize that he is allowing political and artistic censorship. When Carlson reverses his position, C.U.R.B. counters by scaring off the station's commercial sponsors with boycott threats. Commercials deleted.
