HART TO HART: TWO HARTS ARE BETTER THAN ONE {FIFTH SEASON PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
One in this series of adventure dramas about a wealthy couple with a flare for solving crimes. In this episode, an extended flashback set in London several years earlier, Jonathan and Jennifer Hart recall meeting and falling in love. Jonathan Hart has come to London to save a failing British car company with a large infusion of funds, but a pesky American journalist, whom he has refused to meet, keeps pursuing him for an interview about the purpose of his trip. By sheer coincidence he meets the journalist, the beautiful Jennifer Edwards, in a bar, and the two hit it off immediately, though Jennifer conceals her identity when she learns who he is. The two spend an exciting night on the town, and a somewhat inebriated Jonathan tells her of his plans to save the British company. Sparks fly when the morning paper includes Jennifer's front-page exposŽ of Hart's plans, an article that could sour his deal with the publicity-shy motor company. Jennifer is just as shocked by the article -- because she didn't write it. Matters grow worse when Jennifer discovers that her editor, the only person she told of her meeting with Hart, has been murdered; Jonathan learns who his date really was; and the killer takes aim at the soon-to-be Harts. Commercials deleted.
