OFFICE (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series starring Bud Abbott and Lou
Costello. In this episode, Costello has a bad tooth and
he and Abbott try a number of ways to remove it from his
mouth. First, they go to a dentist, who ends up not
being able to differentiate detween the various parts of
Costello's head. Next, Abbott ties one end of a string
to a dog and the other end to Costello's tooth and
releases a cat in front of the dog. The dog chases the
cat and Costello gets dragged through the yard, but his
tooth stays put. Then Abbott suggests that Costello get
himself sent to jail so that he can get free dental
care. Unfortunately with every attempt Costello makes
to get caught doing the wrong thing he winds up looking
more and more like a hero. Finally, Abbott suggests
that Costello tie his tooth to the bumper of a car, so
that when the car pulls away, his tooth will come out.
