Summary
This dark comedy from Germany concerns a woman who compromises her principles to gain wealth and revive her marriage to her philandering husband. Susanne, an accountant in an investment firm, initially hopes to rekindle the passion in her marriage to Thomas, a rising manager within the same firm, by telling him that she has had an affair. This plan backfires, however, when he admits that he has also been unfaithful and decides that it would be best if they separate so that he can spend more time romancing his office paramours and managing a multimillion dollar shopping center development deal. When Thomas and his boss, Mr. Benisch, decide that Susanne should be transferred to a remote branch of the firm, the jilted woman seeks revenge, using her final two weeks to sabotage her husband's interoffice romances and bilk the dishonest firm of millions of dollars. In German with English subtitles.
