MIAMI VICE: LITTLE MISS DANGEROUS (TV)
Summary
One in this series of police dramas concerning Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs, undercover detectives for the Miami vice squad. In this episode, the vice squad detectives search for a serial murderer they've dubbed the "crayon killer" because of cartoonish drawings left behind at murder sites. As the squad works the streets, working on the assumption that the killer is a prostitute, Tubbs unwittingly befriends the culprit. Jackie, an orphaned 18-year-old exotic dancer, reminds Tubbs of girls he knew in New York, and he wants to get her off the streets. Jackie's boyfriend Cat, initially a suspect in the case, is cleared but grows increasingly hostile toward Tubbs, whom he believes is trying to steal Jackie away from him. When Cat lures Crockett into a chase, Crockett finds drawings similar to those found at the murder sites inside the couple's apartment. He rushes to the safe-house where Tubbs and Jackie are staying, but while the girl has handcuffed his partner to the bed and stolen his gun, it's not Tubbs she plans on killing. Commercials deleted.
