Summary

One in this daytime serial set in the fictional town of Bay City, Illinois. In this episode, Jamie asks Kelsey to attend a Dean Frame concert but Kelsey is worried that their being seen together in public might jeopardize her career at the hospital; Carl plays a cryptic computer game with Ryan, who is disguised as a park wino; Dennis arrives at the hospital and tells Jamie that Marley is very upset and has left him; a woman abandons her Alzheimer's-afflicted mother in the hospital lobby; Iris tells Rachel that Spencer has become withdrawn and seems to be thinking only of his dead wife Justine; Jake tells Paulina that he made a bet with Dennis that Dennis could seduce Marley away from Jamie, and Paulina is furious, swearing she'll leave him if he concocts such a scheme again; Dennis tells Jamie about the bet and she is livid, telling him that he betrayed his trust; Ada visits the hospital and sees herself in the face of the abandoned old woman; Iris decides to help out at Bay City General to prove to Spencer that she is just as saintly as Justine was; Ada goes to see Rachel and confides to her that she is becoming forgetful at work and fears getting older; during a microphone voice check for the concert set-up, Sam ends up impressing Lorna and others with his singing ability; Ryan insists that Carl meet with him this evening, and Carl raises the stakes of the "game" to life or death; Paulina and Jake make up with each other as Jake prepares for the concert, for which he will direct the video; and Jamie arrives on stage and punches Jake as Paulina looks on in horror. Commercials deleted.
