Summary
One in this series of children's programs featuring marionette Howdy Doody, hosted by Bison Bill (filling in for Buffalo Bob) and Princess Summerfall Winterspring, and cheered on by the Peanut Gallery, a bleacher full of rambunctious children. In this episode, Howdy gets closer to solving the mystery of the four z's Ñ a sneaky scheme constructed by Phineas T. Bluster. Clarabell makes headlines when he quits Mr. Bluster's team for reasons unknown. Princess Summerfall Winterspring and Bison Bill sing "Jeepers Creepers" to Wendy, a shaggy sheepdog. Bison Bill presents an Olde Time Movie, a romantic comedy. As the program concludes, Howdy Doody uncovers Mr. Bluster's dire plot to telecast a rival show, "Howdy Bluster." Includes commercial endorsements by Howdy Doody, Bison Bill and Clarabell for Kellogg's Rice Krispies and Colgate Ribbon Dental Cream.
