ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS: HOSPITAL (TV)
Summary
One in this British comedy series about two dissolute middle-aged friends -- London fashion publicist Edina and fashion editor Patsy -- and Edina's level-headed teen-age daughter Saffron. In this episode, Patsy is embroiled in a tabloid sex scandal with a Member of Parliament while Edina checks into the hospital for minor toe surgery. Being at the center of a public scandal does not bother Patsy so much as seeing her age exposed in the newspapers. Tagging along with Edina to the hospital, Patsy decides to combat her fear of aging by having a facelift. Having abused their hospital medications, the two women dream wildly while undergoing their operations.
