Highlights include: O'Brien opens with a monologue in which comments on Michael Jordan hitting his first home run since retiring from basketball and the photos of Tonya Harding's honeymoon being published in Penthouse magazine; O'Brien and his sidekick Andy Richter have the exclusive pleasure of "interviewing" the recently married Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley; Pascal the ant, an aspiring comedy writer, tries out some new material for O'Brien; the next guest Jackie Mason talks about the following topics: being happy with all of the recent juicy topics in the news, especially Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley; never repeating the same jokes during his Broadway shows; a look back at the last time he was on the program; why he goes to Washington, D.C., to do his research about newsworthy topics; and previous presidents who were obvious liars; O'Brien then introduces silent movie legend "Pucky Littlechap," but runs out of time before the interview starts; Bruce Cockburn performs "Sign of Your Face"; novelist Bret Easton Ellis discusses writing "Less Than Zero" and having it published while a junior at college, the public outrage over his latest book "American Psycho" because of its graphic descriptions of serial-killers, being banned from EuroDisney because of "American Psycho," and what his new book "The Informers" is about. Includes commercials, promos, and public service announcements. This program is closed-captioned.
