HOMICIDE: LIFE ON THE STREET: LAW AND DISORDER (TV)

Summary

One in this series of police dramas about a department of reflective homicide detectives in Baltimore, Maryland. In this episode, Detective Bayliss is assigned the unpopular task of investigating possible police involvement in the murder of Gordon Pratt -- the freed suspect who was questioned in the attempted murder of Bolander, Felton, and Howard. Meanwhile, Detective Felton -- still shaken physically and emotionally from the trauma of the shooting -- navigates an uneasy transition back to active duty; Pembleton and Lewis clash over race while investigating the murder of a white woman who lived in the vicinity of a poor black neighborhood; and Munch is embarrassed when a twenty-five-year-old photo of him as a naked hippie surfaces at a photo exhibiton at the gallery across the street from the precinct. This episode features cameos by film director John Waters and Chris Noth, as his "Mike Logan" character from "Law & Order." Commercials deleted.
