SISTERS: SOME TUESDAY IN JULY {FIRST SEASON FINALE} (TV)
Summary
One in this serial drama series about the four Reed sisters -- Alex, Georgie, Teddy, and Frankie -- of Winnetka, Illinois. In this episode, the following events occur: John awaits the airing of his television commercial; Teddy informs her sisters that she plans to leave town for good; Teddy asks her ex-husband, Mitch, to take care of their daughter, Cat, after she is gone; Alex encourages her daughter, Reed, to play Juliet in her school's production of "Romeo and Juliet"; Cat confronts her mother about her drinking and Teddy responds by telling her that she is leaving town without her; Georgie and John learn that their son, Evan, has leukemia; Georgie tells her sisters about Evan's condition; John decides to accept a partnership at an accounting firm; Teddy argues with Georgie about her unemotional reaction to Evan's diagnosis; and Cat goes to live with her father. During the show, the four sisters have flashbacks of childhood memories that relate to the situations with which they are dealing. Commercials deleted.
