Summary

This program documents the grass roots political efforts of anti-abortion groups in Illinois during the 1976 local, state, and national elections, and their attempts to elect candidates who are amenable to their cause. E. Spencer Parsons of the Illinois Chapter of the National Abortion Rights Action League, who lashes out at the political lobbying of the anti-abortion movement; the Catholic Church's involvement in Illinois elections; and statistics from a poll which attempted to gauge the feelings of Illinois voters on the abortion issue.
