WHAT'S MY LINE? {MYSTERY GUEST: GENE KELLY} (TV)
Summary
One in this series of panel game shows in which celebrity panelists engage in witty banter as they try to guess the unusual occupations of the guests. On this program, host John Daly presides over a panel which consists of journalist Dorothy Kilgallen, actor Louis Jourdan, actress Arlene Francis, and publisher Bennett Cerf. Employing only yes-or-no questions, they try to discover the vocations of Eddie Mae Koonce, a female steeplejack from Houston, Texas, and Noel Levine, the president of a shower curtain manufacturing company, from New York. After donning blindfolds, the panelists then attempt to guess the identity of this week's mystery guest -- actor/dancer/director Gene Kelly. Finally, the panelists question nine-year-old Glen Kaufman, a professional magician from Wayne, New Jersey. Includes commercials.
