DR. KATZ, PROFESSIONAL THERAPIST: FAMILY CAR {FIRST SEASON PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
One in this animated comedy series which takes place in the office of Dr. Katz, a slow-talking analyst who treats his patients the best he can. In this episode, Ben wants to borrow the car for the day and Dr. Katz reluctantly agrees. Dr. Katz's first patient, Anthony, tells the analyst about seeing his family for Christmas and how ugly they all are, the strange things his mother does, growing up with his big-boned sister and all of his weird brothers, and being on an airplane that is flying through turbulence. Dr. Katz calls Ben in the car, but Ben can't figure out how to use the phone and drive at the same time. Dr. Katz's next patient, Andy, discusses how utterly stupid his family is, why he's afraid of being arrested, why women don't find the Three Stooges funny, why he could never be a surgeon, what is like being an obsessive-compulsive person, and what other jobs he had before doind stand-up comedy. Ben finally drops the car off at Dr. Katz's office and Laura tells him that it is being towed. She decides to help Ben out and stop the tow-truck from taking the car. However, Dr. Katz has to ask Stanley for a ride home because Ben drove the car around for three hours with the emergency brake on. When Dr. Katz gets home, he brings up the possibility of Ben buying his own car. Commercials deleted.
