DR. KATZ, PROFESSIONAL THERAPIST: BYSTANDER BEN {SECOND SEASON PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
One in this animated comedy series which takes place in the office of Dr. Katz, a slow-talking analyst who treats his patients the best he can. In this episode, Ben tells Dr. Katz that he's quoted in the newspaper as an eyewitness to a crime. Dr. Katz wonders why Ben used his name instead of being an anonymous eyewitness, which is what most people do. Dr. Katz's first patient, Steven, talks about getting addicted to cough medicine, how many cups of coffee he drinks a day, his sleep problems, whether intrusive thoughts are disturbing his life, the history of depression in his family, how he overcame his fear of heights, and his appetite these days. Ben brags about the newspaper article to Laura who can't believe he used his real name either. After reading the story several times, Ben wants to change his name so that it will sound more media savvy. Dr. Katz's next patient, Kevin, talks about using the bathroom in his home, going on vacation with his family, his father's infatuation with barbecuing, and why it was so hard for him to do his homework. Ben finally admits that he didn't actually see the crime and that the media printed an outright lie. Commercials deleted.
