Summary

One in this long-running daytime serial, set in the midwestern town of Oakdale. In this episode, the following events occur: Rosanna plans a surprise party for Carly; Carly informs Evan of his mother's attempt to bribe her and Rosanna's decision to give away some of her inheritence; Lily, in her drugged state, tries to get away from her husband and his family; Larry testifies against Dr. Dixon as he reviews the events of the night that Eduardo died; Rosanna informs Mike that she intends to give Carly her mother's trust fund; Lily tells her mother that she believes Orlena is out to murder her; Dr. Grodin convinces Lucinda that Lily cannot return to the United States in her condition; Carly tells Evan that it is her birthday; Larry reveals that Dr. Dixon prevented him from getting a job as the head of pediatrics in order to help his own son; and Evan makes arrangements for Carly to go to Chicago for her birthday. Commercials deleted.
