Summary
One in this animated comedy series about the Simpsons -- Homer and Marge, and their children, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. In this episode, Troy McClure hosts a special which looks back at the history of the Simpsons with various clips and highlights, along with some Simpsons trivia. Highlights include: the first time the Simpsons appeared on television in 1987; some examples of how Homer seems to get dumber every year; the mysterious personal life of Mr. Waylon Smithers; outtakes that never aired because of the content; a confrontation between Homer and his powerful boss, Mr. Burns, in which Homer attempts to retrieve Bart from Burns's mansion; the alternate endings for the "Who Shot Mr. Burns?" cliffhanger episode; and a look at how nudity is used tastefully on the show. Commercials deleted. This program is closed-captioned.
