3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN {THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN}: BODY & SOUL & DICK (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about the Solomons, a family of aliens who have landed in a small Ohio college town to study human civilization. In this episode, Dick and Sally attend a faculty party honoring Dr. Hanlin, a rude, sexist, intellectual snob who has nothing but disdain for his colleagues -- except for Dick, whose honesty he finds refreshing. When Hanlin suddenly expires at the buffet table, Dick is moved by the fragility of human life and decides he wants to live, live, live. Later, Dick is surprised to learn that Hanlin left a written request for him to deliver Hanlin's eulogy -- and Dick struggles to find some positive words to say about a man so universally disliked. Meanwhile, Tommy takes up with a shallow cheerleader, but soon realizes he would rather be with August. Commercials deleted. This program is closed-captioned.
