LEAVE IT TO BEAVER: THE SPOT REMOVERS (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about the Cleaver family -- Ward and June and their two sons, Wally and Theodore, known as "the Beaver." In this episode, Beaver and his friend Richard accidentally destroy Wally's suit coat when they douse it with oil while treating a baseball glove. Their subsequent attempts to remove the stain with bleach and paint succeed only in utterly ruining the garment. The situation becomes a crisis when Wally and his friend Eddie Haskell plan to wear their suits to a fancy party. Beaver is disconsolate at the thought of disappointing his brother and incurring his parents' wrath -- until the usually obnoxious Eddie commits a shockingly uncharacteristic act of kindness. Commercials deleted.
