ELLEN: A DEER HEAD FOR JOE (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about the quirky misadentures of a flippant Los Angeles Bookstore manager named Ellen Morgan. In this episode, Ellen tells her colleagues at the bookstore about her previous night's meeting with their new manager, Ed Billik. Though Ellen claims that he's funny, smart, and nice, Joe is suspicious. When the group finally meets Ed, it's obvious that Ellen had painted an unrealistic picture. When he unpacks to settle into the office he will share with Ellen, she is shocked to see that he has put a deer's head on the wall -- "one he shot himself," Ed confesses. Joe and Ed soon find they can't get along, after which Joe is fired. When Ellen can't make Ed change his mind, she kidnaps Ed's prized deer head, leading to unforeseen complications. Includes commercials. This program is closed-captioned.
