Summary
One in this drama series about the cases of Frank Black, a former FBI agent with a special gift for seeing into the minds of serial killers. Black, who has recently resettled with his family in Seattle, now works for the Millennium Group, an underground law enforcement organization comprised of experts in various fields who battle the burgeoning forces of evil in the world as the year 2000 approaches. In this episode, Frank travels to Washington, D.C., to join a task force investigating the bombing of a local pub frequented by British diplomats, which resulted in multiple deaths and injuries. The touch-tone warning received by an emergency operator a few minutes before the explosion has the markings of an IRA job, but Frank comes to believe the bomber's motives are personal rather than political and that he will kill again in a twisted act of psychosexual gratification. Frank makes contact with the bomber, an explosives expert with an apartment full of high-tech electronic surveillance equipment with which he is monitoring every move the investigators make. Before long, Frank finds himself a pawn in the killer's scheme to raise the stakes of his cat-and-mouse game with the authorities in order to heighten the level of the thrill. Commercials deleted.
