Summary
One in this series of frenetically-paced comedy programs hosted by Dan Rowan and Dick Martin. This program centers around William F. Buckley, Jr., who fields questions from the "Laugh-In" cast. In between the Buckley segments, the show includes a number of sketches and one-liners, including: "The Party"; "Happy New Year," a lengthy production number with a series of year-in-review spots; a look at the future of baby-making; a scene in which Zero Mostel, as a German Geppetto, runs an incredibly well stocked gift shop; and a performance by the Mothers of Rhythm of "Auld Lang Syne." This program includes cameo appearances by Johnny Carson; Phyllis Diller; Carol Channing; and Rich Little, doing impressions of Tony Curtis, Richard Nixon and John Wayne. It concludes with the "Joke Wall." Commercials deleted.
