Summary
One in this series of daytime talk shows hosted by a multi-generational group of women, presided over by Barbara Walters, moderated by journalist Meredith Vieira, and including recent college graduate Debbie Matenopoulos, attorney Star Jones, and comedian Joy Behar. After an introductory chat, the hosts discuss the day's "hot topics," including allegations that sportscaster Marv Albert sexually assaulted a woman, the impact of children on a marriage, and actors who would be fitting to portray the Clintons. After a clip of the sitcom "Spin City," Vieira interviews actor Michael J. Fox about the following topics: his fulfilling family life; the challenge of raising twin daughters; a road trip he took with his son and friends; and balancing his work on "Spin City" with his personal life. Also, Fox recalls his first role on "Leo & Me," followed by a clip. Fox then joins the group to answer the "Question of the Day," which asks, "If you could meet any historical figure who would it be?" with answers ranging from Jesus to Elvis Presley. Next, Dr. Harold Bloomfield, author of "Hypericum & Depression," and depression patient Truen Bergen outline the benefits and usage of Hypricum, an herb commonly known as St. John's Wort, which can treat moderate depression. Finally, Walters introduces Joy Behar, who will be filling in for her on the following program. Includes commercials, promos, and public service announcements. Commercials include Bill Cosby for Jell-O. This program is closed-captioned.
