GHOSTWRITER: GHOST STORY {PART 4 OF 5} (TV)
Summary
One in this mystery-adventure series about a group of urban preteens who, with the assistance of an invisible spirit they name "Ghostwriter," solve cases by using their reading and writing skills. Ghostwriter can only communicate through writing and just a few children are able see his words. In this episode, Gaby receives a message from Ghostwriter, and Alex sees a student opening up locker number 163. Alex follows the student to an arcade where he discovers that his suspect is part of a four-person team which is practicing a video game called "Double Defenders" for a tournament. All the characters in the game have two faces just like the masks worn by the people Jamal saw in the yard. Later, with the help of Ghostwriter, the children figure out where and when the "THABTO" team is going to meet. They decide to use the secret code they have cracked to send the student at locker number 163 a message not to go the meeting. Alex intends to take his place. Since all of the team members wear masks, Alex believes he will not be recognized. All goes well, until Alex realizes that he will have to sign a book under a secret name. Unfortunately, he does not know which "Double Defenders" name to use.
