Summary
One in this series of live-action children's programs from Australia about the life of an imaginative youngster named Wayne Wilson. In this episode, Wayne begins his first day at a new school, where he learns that trying too hard can sometimes be worse than not trying at all. Wayne tries extremely hard to be well-liked by his teacher and his fellow students. Although his comic personality makes his classmates laugh, it costs him the respect of his teacher, Mr. Dellafield, and makes him a number-one enemy of the class bullies, Kevin and Patrick. Wayne tries to compensate for his behavior by using his lunch hour to acquire an important apparatus for a science experiment that Mr. Dellafield wants to conduct in class. However, the situation goes awry when Wayne accidently destroys the class bullies' "office" and sets off one of the bullies' pranks inside of the classroom.
