LITTLE LULU SHOW, THE: BOY CANNON BALL / NOSES OFF / HAIRY DAY {SECOND SEASON PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
One in this animated series -- produced by Canadian, U.S., and German companies -- about a little girl named Lulu, who always seems to land up causing mishaps and mayhem. This episode includes the following cartoons, among other shorts: "Boy Cannonball," "Noses Off," and "Hairy Day." In "Boy Cannonball," Lulu and a friend pay a nickel to see Tubby being shot out of a cannon. However, when the cannon is fired, they do not see Tubby fly into the sky. Yet Tubby is no longer in the cannon. Peturbed by the situation, Lulu is determined to figure out how the trick works. In "Noses Off," wealthy Wilbur convinces Lulu that her arrow broke the nose off of his father's expensive antique bust and that she owes his father six dollars for breaking it. In actuality, the antique work of art was missing its nose when Wilbur's father purchased it. Lulu realizes that she will never come up with the six dollars so she decides to create a new nose to replace the one that is missing. Unfortunately, when she tries to replace the nose, the piece of art falls to the floor and breaks into many pieces. Lulu and her friend put the pieces back together in an "artistic" way. In "Hairy Day," Lulu learns that her father is upset because he is bald and wishes that he could have his hair back. She asks Tubby, who owns a chemistry kit, to help her make a mixture that will restore her father's hair. Unfortunately for the two new scientists, their creation works too well.
