SOUTH PARK: BIG GAY AL'S BIG GAY BOAT RIDE (TV)

Summary

One in this series of animated programs for adults about the town of South Park, which is populated by an oversexed school chef, a psychotic teacher, Jesus Christ, and a group of acerbic, foul-mouthed youngsters. This episode features special guest star George Clooney as the voice of Sparky the dog. In this episode, Stan is embarrassed when his new dog, Sparky, begins seducing other male dogs. Stan sets out to learn about the nature of homosexuality. First he asks his teacher, Mr. Garrison, who espouses irrational homophobia, and then Stan phones Jesus on his public access call-in show, but his search is thwarted. Saddened by his master's failure to accept his sexuality, Sparky escapes. Meanwhile, local militia members Jimbo and Ned have bet money on Stan, who is the town's prized quarterback at the football game. Jimbo and Ned arrange for a bomb to explode inside the opponents' mascot at the exact moment when John Stamos's brother, Richard, sings "Loving You" at half-time. But Stan refuses to play in the football game and goes looking for his dog instead. Stan finds Sparky at Big Gay Al's Gay Animal Sanctuary, where lions, geese, and water buffalo enjoy the oppression-free gym and disco floor. Big Gay Al takes Stan and his dog on his Big Gay Boat Ride to enlighten them about the history of homosexuality in the tradition of Disneyland's "It's a Small World" ride. And, at the football game, a surprise player helps the South Park team, despite Kenny's imminent death. Ultimately, many gay animals find homes with the people of South Park. Commercials deleted.
