Summary
One in this whimsical comedy/drama series about the personal and professional misadventures of Ally McBeal, a neurotic young lawyer living in Boston. In this episode, Ally's moribund love life jolts into high gear as she finds herself fantasizing about her teenage client Clinton Gil, drawn to prodigiously endowed sculpture model Glenn, and pursued by her eccentric and hyper-verbal colleague John Cage. Complicating matters are Ally's recurring hallucinations of a suavely dancing baby, which her friends quickly diagnose as the manifestation of her biological clock. While Ally struggles to reconcile her desires and her morals, the law firm seethes with carnality as the men anticipate an upcoming boxing match and the women gossip about Glenn's distinguishing characteristic. John's pointedly stirring summation of Clinton's case -- endorsing the healthiness of primal human drives -- prompts Ally to act on her feelings toward Glenn and confront the gyrating toddler with some smooth moves of her own.
