LARRY SANDERS SHOW, THE: HANK'S NEW ASSISTANT (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series starring Garry Shandling as Larry Sanders, a late-night talk show host. In this episode, Hank searches for a temporary assistant during Darlene's absence. Meanwhile, Artie and Larry look forward to the poker game that night with guest Dana Carvey. Larry worries, however, about an impression Carvey plans to do of Larry on the show. Hank hits it off with his new assistant Brian until he finds out about his sexual preference, then tries to find a reason to fire him. Larry hints to Carvey that he is upset about the impression; Carvey doesn't do the impression on that evening's show and then unexpectedly pulls out of the poker game. Hank receives a letter from Darlene saying that she is not coming back, and Hank must decide whether to hire Brian full-time. This program is closed-captioned.
