EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND: MARIE'S MEATBALLS (TV)
Summary
One in this series of situation comedies about the quirky Barone family, starring comedian Ray Romano. In this episode, Marie brings over some of her famous spaghetti and meatballs for Ray even though Debra has already prepared lemon chicken for her husband. Debra feels slighted when Ray chooses to eat the spaghetti; she says she wants to be able to cook glorious meals for him. Hoping to help, Ray casually asks his mother to give cooking lessons to Debra. Marie and Debra spend the day together in the kitchen, and Debra finally learns the secret to MarieÕs magical dishes. When Ray tastes the meatballs Debra prepares, however, he finds that they are nothing like those his mother makes. In order to solve the mystery, Debra crosses the street in the middle of the night to snoop around for MarieÕs sacred recipes. Robert, who is getting a snack in the kitchen, digs up the recipe for the meatballs -- exactly the one Debra has received from Marie. Debra begins to feel that her cooking future is doomed. While packing up MarieÕs ingredients, however, Debra notices a label peeling off a spice bottle, and she is shocked at what she discovers underneath. In the end, Ray must try to solve his family's culinary dilemma. Commercials deleted.
