SOMERSET {INVESTIGATING GREG'S MURDER} (TV)
Summary
One in this series of daytime serials -- a spin-off from the long-running series, "Another World" -- set in Somerset, a town not far from Bay City, Illinois.
As this episode opens, Carrie confides to Jill and David that she believes someone has been rummaging through her apartment. Just then, Steve, Carrie's co-worker at the local newspaper, joins them for dinner. At the same restaurant, Vicky and Julian are planning his television interview about crime, and Dan tells them that the district attorney has a strong case and may well be able to avenge Greg's murder. Meanwhile, Steve declares he believes organized crime is behind Greg's death, and proceeds to question Lt. Price, who says that Greg was killed after investigating a series of suspicious fires in town. Lt. Price also says that Carrie taped a confession from one of the arsonists, who named somebody else who was linked to the crimes. Steve warns Lt. Price that if organized crime is indeed behind these events, then neither Carrie nor any of the other witnesses are safe. Includes commercials.
