TWILIGHT ZONE, THE: TWO {THIRD SEASON PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
One in this science fiction/fantasy anthology series hosted by Rod Serling. This episode is set in a post-apocalyptic, urban wasteland that exists, according to host and narrator Serling, either "a hundred years from now, or sooner" or possibly even "two million years ago." Two soldiers -- one male and one female, and from opposite sides of the war that led to the dystopia -- run across each other while searching for food. They appear to be the only two people left on Earth. Unable to communicate with each other using a shared language, the two struggle to put aside their past differences in the interest of a survival free from loneliness. This episode is almost entirely silent. Commercials deleted.
