SPORTS NIGHT: SALLY (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about the staff members of a high-pressure, nightly cable program covering sports news. In this episode, Casey's and Dana's repressed feelings for each other serve to highlight the neuroses of each. At the beginning of the episode, Dan figures out that Casey has spent the night at a woman's house. While Casey will confirm that much, he refuses to reveal the name of his partner. Dana, in the meantime, is trying to figure out why she has been stood up by her unreliable boyfriend, Gordon. She consults Natalie for help, but Natalie is also distracted by a boyfriend, Jeremy; her Jewish swain is trying to learn all about Christianity in order to impress Natalie's family. She simply tells Dana what she always tells her: "You don't like Gordon. You like Casey." Casey tells Dan that he is upset at having left a shirt at the home of his overnight hostess, and Dan tries in vain to guess the identity of the secret woman. Ultimately, the truth comes to light. At the same time, Gordon makes an afternoon visit to Dana -- and Casey plans to speak to him. Includes commercials and promos. This program is closed-captioned.
