RUGRATS: TOMMY'S FIRST BIRTHDAY {SERIES PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
The first in this series of animated children's programs about one-year-old Tommy Pickles and his group of baby pals, who frequently embark on mischievous adventures right under the noses of their oblivious parents. In this episode, the entire family celebrates Tommy's first birthday. While Didi stresses over the party preparations, Stu puts the finishing touches on a homemade toy, the "Hoverama," which he built for Tommy. Meanwhile, Tommy becomes fixated on a television commercial for dog food, and afterwards, he concludes that if he eats dog food, he will live the fun, carefree life of a dog. When the other children arrive, Tommy discusses his idea with them, and they unanimously agree that it would be fun to live like a dog. So while the adults fuss and fight during the party, the children sneak into the kitchen, and with the help of Stu's "Hoverama," they embark on a dog food mission.
