CYBILL: SEE JEFF JUMP, JUMP, JEFF, JUMP! (TV)
Summary
One in this series about a witty actress named Cybill, who finds herself in one dilemma after another as she contends with aging in the entertainment industry; her two ex-husbands, Ira and Jeff; her daughters, Rachel and Zoey; and her alcohol-loving friend, Maryann. In this episode, Cybill is losing patience as Jeff's temporary stay above her garage stretches on much too long for her comfort. When he gets fired from his job it looks as though he will never leave. She recruits Ira to help him out of his funk, but that plan backfires when Jeff winds up depressing Ira instead. Cybill learns that Jeff's work troubles stem from his fear of danger as a stunt double. She convinces his mentor, Stitch Sullivan, to give him some encouragement, which he does through some unique reasoning. Back on the set, Jeff panics when he is supposed to leap off a building, and it's up to Cybill to use some unorthodox methods of her own to give him the "push" he needs. Meanwhile, Maryann's fixation with the O.J. Simpson murder trial causes havoc on the set. Commercials deleted.
