Summary
The second of two episodes on this tape. One in this satirical soap opera series about Mary Hartman, a housewife from Fernwood, Ohio. In this episode, Garth forces Pat to quit her job as a nurse at Fernwood Hospital, saying that she cannot properly take care of him and his home if she is distracted by other responsibilities. Early one morning, Tom comforts Loretta by telling her that he doesn't believe Charlie will stay away for long. He becomes suspicious, however, when he sees Jody at the Haggers' house so early in the day, and he advises her to beware of lecherous men while her husband is absent. Mary agrees to be Cathy's natural childbirth coach and learns from Pat that fourteen-year-old Garth, Jr., has a secret that just might enrage his father. Commercials deleted.
