Summary
The second of two episodes on this tape. One in this satirical soap opera series about Mary Hartman, a housewife from Fernwood, Ohio. In this episode, Nat Dearborn arrives at the Hartman home to question Dr. Medwick about Garth Gimble's death. Pat is unsure whether to leave town with the gypsies. The gypsies draw cards for her, and the Queen of Spades comes up twice, an omen that Pat is, indeed, one of them. After a few swigs of whiskey, Loretta admits that she is jealous of the friendship between Charlie and Mac. Mary finds Pat and tells her that she has a good chance of getting her name cleared, and Pat makes a decision about her future. Commercials deleted.
