Summary
The second of two episodes on this tape. One in this satirical soap opera series about Mary Hartman, a housewife from Fernwood, Ohio. In this episode, Loretta and Charlie discuss Vernon's accusations against Dewey. A noise in the back of the house reveals a wild child. Mary calls Charlie in a frenzy because Tom has left the house with his gun. She also asks her father for help. Tom, Vernon, and Texas meet in the woods, and Vernon outlines a plan to burn the arsenal of the "Black Militant Crazies." Tom objects to Vernon's plotting, and Vernon knocks him out with a flashlight. Commercials deleted.
