Summary

The second of two episodes on this tape. One in this satirical soap opera series about Mary Hartman, a housewife from Fernwood, Ohio. In this episode, Tex wants the GGG to take action against a television station for broadcasting "Roots," but Vernon cautions him to take things slowly. Loretta tells Mary that she's jealous of Charlie's friendship with Mac, so Mary suggests that they set Mac up with Lila. Martha is excited about her first day working at the Capri Lounge, and Mary tells George about Martha's kleptomania. Loretta arranges for Mac and Lila to meet at the Capri Lounge, and Merle and Wanda come home to discover that Lila has moved in and completely redecorated. Commercials deleted.
