VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA: A TIME TO DIE (TV)
Summary
One in this science fiction/fantasy series set in the "not-too-distant future" about the adventures of Admiral Harriman Nelson, Captain Lee Crane, and the crew of the top-secret atomic submarine "Seaview." In this episode, the Seaview enters a patch of turbulence and emerges 1,000,000 years in the past, where -- or rather when -- its crew members are nearly attacked by a prehistoric sea serpent and a giant bird. A second patch of turbulence returns them to the present, but, inexplicably, after this second trip Nelson finds himself far from the Seaview in the company of a mysterious inventor named Pem. Pem explains that he has achieved "complete mastery of time" through the use of a special pocket-watch power-booster of his own design and wants to use the Seaview to serve as his portable power source. Nelson agrees to become Pem's partner so Pem uses his watch to return them to the Seaview. Once on board, however, Nelson immediately orders the shutdown of the submarine's reactor and concocts a plan to foil Pem's dastardly scheme. Commercials deleted.
